The NBA draft is about 3 weeks away, and I'm getting pumped for this year's draft. Even though lots of people have this as a horrible draft, I see this draft with a lot of equal talent. So, here I will give you every pick in the first round with analysis. Let's start off with number one the Cleveland Cavaliers!
1. Cleveland- Kyrie Irving, Duke
Irving fits what Cleveland needs now, a star that will once again fill the seats at the Q. You need to start your rebuilding process with a point guard, Irving is that and more. This is a lock to happen at number one.
2. Minnesota- Derrick Williams, Arizona
True David Khan move right here. Minnesota already has enough wing players, but it's David Khan what do you expect? Derrick Williams will most likely start, but this isn't that good of a situation if Williams ends up with the Timberwolves. If Minnesota was smart they would go Enes Kanter here, but it's the Timberwolves. A lot of reports say Minnesota is in love with Derrick Williams. Good luck in Minnesota Derrick.
3. Utah- Brandon Knight, Kentucky
Utah needs a point guard to replace Devin Harris. Harris is not part of the Jazz's future, Knight can easily fill the seats in Utah. Even if Jimmer Fredette isn't in Utah, you have the best point guard in the draft in my opinion. What's not to love with Brandon Knight in Utah? This is a perfect fit for the future.
4. Cleveland- Enes Kanter, Kentucky/Turkey
Cleveland gets the guys they wanted with a point guard/center combo with Irving and Kanter. Kanter didn't play last year, but he has a very high ceiling. Kanter and Irving will certainly bring excitement to Cleveland for the future.
5. Toronto- Kemba Walker, UCONN
Kemba Walker fits right in Toronto with Andrea Bargnani. This duo could do wonders up north and spark fan interest again with the Raptors. Kemba can be an explosive point with good basketball iq. The Walker/ Bargnani duo can make waves this year in the NBA.
6. Washington- Jan Vesely, Czech Republic
Vesely is an explosive forward from the Czech Republic. He combined with John Wall would be one of the best young duos in the NBA. Vesely is great in transition which Wall needs. John Wall would be up in joy if this happened. Vesely would be a great fit in the nation's capital.
7. Sacramento- Bismack Biyombo, Congo
Now, that Kemba Walker isn't available Sacramento is in a predicament. Biyombo should fill a need for the Kings, defense. Bismack would be an immediate starter for Sacramento with his defensive strength.
8. Detroit- Jonas Valanciunas, Lithuania
Detroit needs a scoring big man and Jonas will give them that. I see Jonas as one of the top international prospects in this draft. This is a great pick by Detroit. Is Valanciunas the next Dirk Nowitzki?
9. Charlotte- Tristan Thompson, Texas
The Bobcats are in need of a big man, Tristan Thompson fills that role. He still is raw on the offensive end, but could make an immediate impact for the Bobcats. This is a good need fit for Charlotte in this draft.
10. Milwaukee- Alec Burks, Colorado
There are rumors floating around about Brandon Jennings leaving Milwaukee. Also, they need a replacement to Michael Redd. Enter Alec Burks, he can be an impact scorer for the Bucks. Look for him to be a contender for the ROY award this season.
11. Golden State- Marcus Morris, Kansas
A lot of reports are saying this is done, Marcus Morris is a Warrior if there at #11. Well, he's a perfect fit for their offense. He would start right away or be a perfect 6th man for Golden State. This would be a great pick by the Warriors.
12. Utah- Chris Singleton, Florida State
It pains me to say Chris Singleton is going to the Jazz. They need an immediate impact big man to replace Andrei Kerilinko. Chris Singleton fits that mold for the Jazz. Perfect fit for the Utah Jazz. Watch out for him in the ROY watch.
13. Phoenix- Jimmer Fredette, Brigham Young
Phoenix needs an impact scorer and Fredette can do that at will. Even though I see Fredette as the next Redick. I see this as an okay pick for the Suns. This is a fan pick to sell seats for any NBA team.
14. Houston- Jordan Hamilton, Texas
Hamilton is a great impact scorer who can improve the Rockets offense. Kevin McHale should be drooling over Jordan Hamilton right now. This is a perfect fit for Hamilton in the NBA.
15. Indiana- Marshon Brooks, Providence
I love this kid as a steal in this draft. Some have him ten picks later, but Brooks is one of the best guards in this draft. An explosive scorer is what Indiana needs alongside Danny Granger.
16. Philadelphia- Markieff Morris, Kansas
The other Morris twin gets to go back home by being drafted by the 76ers. They need an athletic big man and Morris fits that need. Look for Markieff to be a huge asset to Philadelphia.
17. New York- Josh Selby, Kansas
New York has to be excited Selby is here at this position. They need an explosive guard, which is Selby. Mike D'Antoni gets the guard he needs in his system. This is maybe the best fit in the draft.
18. Washington- Tobias Harris, Tennessee
Some mocks have the currently slipping Klay Thompson, but Harris is a great fit as a Wizard. He could easily be a great role player for Washington. Alongside Jan Vesely, this is a great duo.
19. Charlotte- Klay Thompson, Washington State
Charlotte wanted Marshon Brooks, but they get a slipping Klay Thompson who they can't pass up here. He's a lights out shooter from 20 plus feet. The Thompson slide ends at the Charlotte Bobcats.
20. Minnesota- Donatas Motiejunas, Lithuania
The David Khan owned Timberwolves make more dumb decisions, drafting Motiejunas, which they have Kevin Love. MItiejunas is only 215, he can't play centerat that weight.
21. Portland- Kenneth Faried, Morehead State
The Blazers get their man in Kenneth Faried. He is a beast on the rebounds, who can start for Portland. This is a great fit for both Faried and Portland. The Blazers always draft well and get a steal at this spot.
22. Denver- Justin Harper, Richmond
Denver needs someone to replace Kenyon Martin and Harper does that for them. He's a scoring big man who can play alongside Nene and Wilson Chandler. This could be an explosive young big man in Denver.
23. Houston- Reggie Jackson, Boston College
This is a great fit for Jackson, who should start right away over Kyle Lowry for the Rockets. He has a scoring mentality with freakish athleticism. Perfect fit in Houston for Reggie Jackson.
24. Oklahoma City- David Bertans, Latvia
He will be a project, but Oklahoma City is a patient team. He would be a great 6th man for the Thunder alongside Durant. Hopefully, Bertans comes over this year for the Thunder.
25. Boston- Nikola Vucevic, USC
He is a true big man who could come in and be a success in Boston. His combine numbers were off the chart and Bsotn was one of the teams keeping a close eye on him. I see Danny Ainge and crew taking Vucevic here in this spot.
26. Dallas- Jordan Williams, Maryland
He could be a protege to Dirk Nowitzki in Dallas. He has a drive to get to the paint and be physical, just what the Mavs need for the future.
27. New Jersey- Nolan Smith, Duke
I don't trust Jordan Farmar to be a good starter, Smith on the other hand could be special. Smith is a great leader and will take this team by the horns. Smith and Brook Lopez could be a special point/center duo heading to Brooklyn.
28. Chicago- Tyler Honeycutt, UCLA
Chicago gets their guard they need here with Honeycutt. He will be a starter immediatly for the Bulls. Honeycutt could be a great fit with Rose in the Windy City.
29. San Antonio- Jeremy Tyler, Tokyo Apache
Tyler will be the protege to Tim Duncan. what a better way for a young guy to learn. Tyler I see being special down the road, especially in the Spurs' system.
30. Chicago- Lucas Nogueira, Brazil
They can wait on Nogueira, who can be a great role player for Chicago. He can be a great back-up to Joakim Noah. Honeycutt and Nogueira are tow great talents Chicago would now have.
Stay tuned for Mock Draft 2.0 in the near future!

Perfect Pacer: Chris Singleton Fits What The Pacers Need
If nobody knows by now, I'm a big Indiana Pacers fan and I'm stoked for this upcoming draft. There are a lot of prospects that I'm looking at for Indiana. The main guy that I hope and pray the Pacers get is Chris Singleton from Florida State. You might be asking, why Chris Singleton?
Well, he proved himself in the NCAA tournament leading the Seminoles to the Sweet 16. Also, being the best defender in the draft, in my opinion. Then, look at his NBA Combine numbers.
He finished near the top in 3/4 court sprint, vertical, and bench press. Remember this is a big man I'm talking about, not a guard. It seems like I'm talking about Brandon Knight, because Singleton has almost the same stats at the combine as Knight who is projected to go to Utah at number three overall.
How is Chris Singleton not rated higher by most experts, I don't know but it's a travesty. I see him coming to be one of the best players in this draft class. He has a great jump shot, terrific defender, and good in transition.
Also, you maybe asking, why does Indiana want Chris Singleton? Well, you might make a good argument not to take him due to them drafting Paul George last year. I don't see anybody beating out Singeton as a better defender at the small forward or power forward position on Indiana. Singleton could come in right away and be a great 6th man or even start at power forward. He could spread out the floor playing that position over Tyler Hansbrough.
I think Tyler is a better fit being our 6th man, but I'll give him an extra year to prove me wrong. Also, do you trust Josh McRoberts, Mike Dunleavy, or Jeff Foster in the future? You better not, Singleton is easily a perfect fit for the Pacers.
Chris Singleton reminds me a lot of a Gerald Wallace. His defense and offense both are consistent enough to be good in the NBA. How would you not draft a guy who can guard like a hall of famer in Bruce Bowen and plays his game like a guard?
It scares me that Larry Bird would pass up Singleton if he's there for a prospect like Jimmer Fredette. Indiana needs to draft Chris Singleton if he's avaliable he'll be an immediate asset to the team. Don't mess this up Indiana, this is the draft we need to succeed to be a contender deep into the playoffs for a long time.
